Spend some time and some money and ask for a TOUR AND Definitely Check out the baby Room. Went to Franklin Safari this past weeken with the family. Great experience. Enjoyed feeding the animals. That baby monkey room is a must do. A bit expensive for the room but well worth it to me. How many times will you be in a room with monkeys jumping all over you. It’s crazy fun. Customer service was nice. About three dogs roaming around unleashed, but they are harmless. All in all a good outing.
Also if your going from Houston make sure it’s not on an Aggie football home game day. Cause the traffic will be crazy.
We had a great time! I was a little unsure at first since the pictures were not all that great, however I read the reviews and they were true to what they said!! It was well worth the 3 hour drive!! I recommend going early since we were one of the first ones! And all the animals gravitated to the car!! What an experience, God's creation is amazing! God bless...
We went because my son went there for a field trip the week before. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra admission to go into the Baby Room and buy a few cups of grapes. Within 30 seconds of walking in my wife and I were covered in loveable lemurs and monkeys. It was an amazing experience. Also buy extra feed buckets for the drive through portion and you won't be disappointed with the wildlife that approaches you. Overall a great place for adults and children.
We made a three hour drive to come here and it was worth every second! The animals were not shy at all they came right up to the vehicle. The baby room was amazing!!! The babies were so playful and cute. The staff was awesome as well. All very friendly and very polite. Defiantly a day trip worth making at least once. We will defiantly be back again.
